Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) is an ex-cop turned bounty hunter who's offered $100,000 to transport prisoner Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas (Charles Grodin) -- an accountant who embezzled millions from the mob -- from New York to Los Angeles.
